In reviewing this issue, it occurs to me that it's somewhat out of scope to  
try to offer a complete comparison of Subversion and, say, Git.   
Presumably, a person reading this book is doing so because they want to  
know about Subversion.  That said, the "Is Subversion the Right Tool?"  
section was a bit stale in light of the DVCS explosion.  I've taken a pass  
at trying to at least draw attention to that VC approach and its major  
players as a way of hopefully giving readers cause to pause and consider  
whether there's more research they need to do before diving into Subversion.
