The French O'Reilly book is a translation of, I think, the printed
English O'Reilly book (which is now a couple of years old).

There have been so many folks volunteering to do a French translation, I
don't know what to do. Yesterday, I got this:

   Subject: Translation svnbook in french
From: Frédéric BAZILE <fbazile at free.fr>
   Date: Fri, 09 Feb 2007 19:50:36 +0100
   To: cmpilato at red-bean.com

   Hello
I'm interested in translating the svnbook to french, because i saw no
one's working on it. I've already began, and wanted to know if i
could join the community as a french translator.

And at some point in the past, I put together this page, which contains
still more folks who've expressed interest in doing a French translation:

   http://svnbook.red-bean.com/trac/wiki/TranslatorHookUp

I'd love to see a translation done, but despite all the noise about
wanted to do so, nobody seems to actually be doing anything.

So, please, if you're serious about doing this, start translating. Chat
with Frédéric BAZILE <fbazile at free.fr>. Chat with the other folks
listed on the Wiki page above. Get organized. Get busy. Get translating.

And when that stuff starts happen, come back here and get commit access
and a webpage. :-)
