Typos in the English book

Now I wonder what orthography is used in the book, British or American one?
American style seems to dominate ("behavior"). Nevertheless I found a few
British words:
"behaviour", "travelling" (sorry, I did not noticed in my last patch that this is
mostly used in British documents, I assumed an error since both "traveling"
and "travelling" was used).
Please add this information to HACKING or the source code (in a comment).

A native reader can check this better than I.

I also changed a label/reference in my last patch. Probably the following is
necessary as well?

Don't worry. I found your mails in my SPAM folder (which I check only once per
month) and does often overflow.

PS: I will try to generate also a few more patches, especially for the German
