Is the trunk still for svn 1.6?

Can I just clarify...

 Is it the case that the 'trunk' version of the book is intended to cover svn 1.6, and the 1.7 stuff is all occurring in a branch? Is the 1.7 branch meant to be used by anyone or is it strictly in-development at this stage? Is it intended that there will be many changes as we move to 1.7?
